A small microsite for Duolingo

In 2022, we had the chance to work with Duolingo on a small microsite for the upcoming football World Cup in Qatar.

The idea was to create a simple, fun way to help users learn how to cheer on or insult teams in other languages. The result was a playful, heavily animated site, with Duolingo's mascot Duo switching between cheerful and angry depending on the user's choice.

It was a short project, but a really fun one. Duo already has a ton of personality, and bringing both sides of it to life through animation made this one of the most playful sites I've worked on.
